indyish’s first radio interview!!

watchout! I was on CIBL today, which is a local French-language community radio station. I was interviewed by JeanMarc Dufour, who will actually be teaching the Free Software for Artists Workshop, (Aug 6th 3pm, part of the Indyish Launch Weekend.) We chatted with the regular host about Indyish and the Arts Weekend, and the 24hr Music Video Making, and the CVP and how we think software is art, and how we want to link art makers of different media up with different free tools.

woopelai! twas fun. j’ai eu la chance de bien pratiquer mon francais, et d’apres moi, c’est bien aller. si tu la ecouter, faut me dire si j’ai fait des gross fautes droles, ok? ce que j’aime a montreal c’est qu’on tu te retrouve dans un conversation confortable qui se passe dans au moins deux langues, et quand on peut se sentir bien dans sa peau, meme si on est pas parfait dans la langue de notre voisin. Montreal est, des fois, une celebration de hybridite creatif (ca ce dit? je sait pas. mais vous me comprenez.).

Montreal can be a celebration of creative hybridity, a place where streams of thought and practice converge, and we want to support that, and help the world get a taste of it, because it tastes good.
