Indyish with Seditionaire at the Fringe

Seditionaire -.. Se * di ” tion * aire.. , Noun. An inciter or promoter of sedition .

A collaborative of artists, designers, directors, and actors who, tired of the conformity and bureaucracy abounding in their respective fields, came together to create a company aimed at pushing the norms of the conventional…Not breaking rules, but creating new ones…not behind your back, but in your face…not against the system, but above it…this is where the misfits come to play, this is our rebellion and this is how it
starts.

Following their debut during last fall’s Fashion Week, Seditionaire follows up their production of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal with “Tales from the Summer” a compilation of scenes from the classic to the contemporary whose one thing in common is their setting, the summer.

Keeping with the tradition of Seditionaire’s alternative take on theatre, each scene will be costumed by a different local boutique and/or designer. With playwrights like John Grisham, Tennesee Williams, and Daniel Maher, this production puts together some of the city’s most prominent talent in performance, direction and design to collaborate in this non-conventional production that showcases the talent our city has to offer.
