Indyish wants to know what you think.

Ok, so about a month ago, we installed and started testing the Indyish Polls system. Basically, we threw together our first poll and stuck it in the sidebar of the site. As always, we wanted to know what you out there were thinking but we got so wrapped up in our own fabulous lives that we forgot to formally and properly introduce the new feature. Well, you guessed it (or, maybe you didn’t) - here it is - The Indyish Polls !!!

The polls are really one of the best ways you (as a viewer/reader/member/visitor/whatever) can help us out, keep us in check, and also take part in shaping the development of Indyish.com as a whole. So, if you haven’t voted already, go ahead and give it a go.

We’ll be publishing a new poll about every month (we’ve already got a few new ones in the works - look out for those). We’re not totally sure if we’ll be keeping the polls in the sidebar of the site. Right now, the polls show up in the sidebar only some of the time. We will (hopefully) be blogging about each new poll (as we have done here), giving some background as to why we asked these questions, etc.

Lastly, if you are going to vote in this month’s poll (above) don’t vote for the choice: “Links Directory where i can add my website”. This is because we got a little ahead of ourselves and already installed the Indyish Links Directory a few days ago… We’d been planning (for a while now) on having a central place to list everyone’s websites, we’ve had a lot of people ask about it, and.. well, that’s probably all good stuff for my next blog post. Anyway, instead of voting for it, you can go ahead and add you website today!

p.s. - once you’ve voted, you should see the current poll results. so, if you’re only seeing poll results (above), this is because you’ve already voted, or, at least the system thinks that you’ve already voted.. hmm.. ;)
