Indyish Member Profiles have Arrived!

At long last..

No need to run, because everybody gets one.

Although we’re not quite ready to open up registration to the general public (yet) - ALL existing members now have Member Profile pages.

You’ll find new links to these profiles all over the site (like the one just below the title of this post - where it says “by elran“). But, before you go off and explore this new way of browsing the site, keep in mind that many members will not have filled out much of their info (partly because it didn’t appear anywhere until now) - so bookmark your favorite profiles now and check back in a bit to see if they’ve been updated.

One of the main features that you’ll notice with these new profile pages are “member icons”.

To set yours up:

1. login (use the link at the top-right corner of the site)
2. then either:
   • click on your name (the new link that appears once you’ve logged in), to go to the back-end, and go to Profile->Your Profile).
   • or, click on the new link called “Profile” (right between your name and the “Tools” link), and look for the big “[edit]” link beside the title of your profile page.
   • or, click on the “Tools” link to be taken to the Member Tools page, and look for the section marked “Settings”, then click on the “Profile” link.
3. finally, go to the bottom of the edit profile page and upload your member icon

Your icon appears not only on your actual member profile page, but also right beside every comment you make throughout the site. It’s a great way for our visitors to become more familiar with all the Indyish members. Hopefully, people will follow these new links back to your member profiles pages and find lots more blog posts, comments, and products that interest them. So, update your profiles now!
