indyish development blog is up and running.

For all of you out there who have been laying awake at night, staring at the ceiling and wondering to themselves: “How do they get the caramel inside the indyish website?” - then, man oh man, this is the place for you. And, no, we do NOT use any kind of black magic - so stop with the emails aready (you know who you are).

Anyway the new DevBlog page is authored by yours truely, and so you can bet that it will be loaded with techno-babble and other awesome nuggets of truth. Specifically, this page covers a range of site related topics that fall primarily under the following categories: Feature Requests, Upcoming Features, What’s New, and Known Bugs.

There is a new button which can be found on the right-hand sidebar of both the Front page (boutique) and the Blog page which links to the DevBlog page (point and click) or you can go to the following URL directly: http://www.indyish.com/dev/

And, so you don’t miss it, the button looks like this:

Basically, i’ll be updating it regularly and some of the posts will appear on the main Blog page (for all to see) - but some of the more technical stuff will only appear on the DevBlog (and in the archives). So, for instance, if you’re having a problem using the site and you think it might be a bug - you would go to the DevBlog and look under the SubCategory “Known Bugs” to see if we’ve already identified it, maybe even found a solution to the problem, or at least have plans to implement some kind of fix in the near future. If not, there will be an email address there for you to submit the bug that you’ve discovered!

The purpose of this page was to have a space to track the site’s progress and chart out new ideas. Think of it as the Indyish RoadMap. Hopefully, it will provide useful for those of you that were curious about the caramel (i mean, the code). -so enjoy!
