YOU?!
Thinking of joining us? Here’s a bit of a mish mash of valid information that might interest you.
Hot tip: if you’re selling during the street fest remember people come looking for bargains. We suggest you have a lot of one thing that’s 5, 10 or 20$. With that and the cash machine across the street you should be good to go.
We’re offering a free day either on Monday the 11th or Wednesday the 13th if you purchase a street fest day, but only until there is no more left (Tuesday’s all booked up!).
On IndiZine day, we’ll offer ”mini-spots”, so 1/4 tables. Keep in mind that that’s for zines or indie publishers.
Also, one of our themed days is ”Eco-Chic” day, on the last day of the market. Make stuffed animals out of vintage scarves? Then it’s just the day for you! There will also be a fashion show on that Sunday (the 17), and many fun treats!
Here’s a couple of questions I answered in emails that might also be helpful:
How big is my spot?
3 ft sq.
Do I bring my own table?
No, the tables are provided and so are the seats but you might want to bring cushions!
What time do I sign in?
Anytime between 12 and 1, but remember it’s first come, first serve. Some people have said they’ll be lining up closer to 11:30.
Is there a rain venue?
Yes - Club Lambi - 2 blocks north, St.Laurent and Mount Royal.
Will there be food in the Parc?
Yes!
Will there be beer and music and live performance in the Parc?
Yes!
Will construction be over?
YES! Finally!!
More questions are answered and the market days are explained here. Just thought we’d get you excited and remind you to save your shopping money for June! Email marilis @indyish.com with any questions, or call 514 691 9991.
As always, stay updated with the latest Indyish adventures at Indyish.com/Events!
Here’s a bit off the official Fringe festival press release:
Are you as sick of the St-Laurent construction as we are? Well, there’s
more good news: Construction will be finished just in time for the
Fringe. To celebrate St-Laurent will close for its famous sidewalk sale
on BOTH weekends of this year’s Fringe! Just imagine. You could wear a
new pair of socks and underwear to each of your Fringe shows.Don’t forget to check out our newest partner in crime: Indyish.com! Art
Markets running each day, including IndyZine, AlternArt, EcoChic…

SO fun, we are so many!! Thrilled, and can’t wait!! :)
