Indyish and POP Montreal on Q today

Yesterday I went down to the SAT to be part of a recording of Q with host Jian Ghomeshi for a special Montreal edition of the CBC show. I hung out with Dan Seligman, founder and creative director of POP Montreal since we were both there to be interviewed, and enjoyed the performace by amazing legendary Jazz artists Joe Lovano and Hank Jones, and Gregory Charles, and Creature. Check it out when it goes up on Q in pod form, and if you like, to get you prepped you can also watch the videos below - one of Hank Jones and Joe Lovano doing their thing, (ps- I am in little kid love with the inspired Mr.Jones after seeing him play and interview.) The other a noisy chaotic video interview I did with Dan a few days ago, onsite at the last day of the madness that was the Montreal Fringe festival (check out our Indyish coverage of the Fringe, including the Sun Ra Arkestra jam with Ethereal Tribal.)
