IndieBiz - Mess.Montreal at YES - Publicity for the self-employed artist

Natalie and myself - aka Mess. Montreal - are thrilled to be collaborating with Yes Montreal to bring you a workshop tonight, Wednesday October 8th, on Publicity for self-employed artists.

We’re used to giving people tips and helping them out with such topics as publicity, but we’re excited to have all this information consolidated in to one glorious powerpoint presentation that we get to share with some eager artist minds. We’re also huge fans of Yes Montreal and what they offer the artists and entrepreneurs of Montreal and are very happy to be collaborating with them.

We’ll be talking about the basics of communication, and providing more specific guidelines for communicating with the media and public.

The whole thing starts at 6:30 at Yes Montreal, and will end at 8:45. If you’ve never been, we hope you’ll go there soon! They’re located at 666 Sherbrooke street West, on the 7th floor (corner University). The cost for the workshop is $15.
