Indie Designer Interviews

While I’m on the subject of cool indie-oriented blog projects (like IndiePendence) here’s an interview series with Indie Designers from over on StyleDash. I just discovered MissEvilKitty jewellery while looking through it, and while the vintage pieces clumped together artfully onto a gold necklace is something a lot of people are doing, I like how she’s mixing in weird plastics and bright colours to make something a little less, I dunno, precious. Here’s a sweet bit from her interview, I like it when interviewees get a little ribald and random.. ah indie..:

Missevilkitty was a nickname at one point but then I decided that it represents all the cats from my past, present and future. Especially one from my past named Snowy who was a black cat that had a thing for corn on the cob. I have a cat named Mofo .. like the cuss word!
