Indie Art for a Good Cause – Planned Parenthood Ottawa’s Magic Boxes Event + photos

The good folks at Planned Parenthood Ottawa have put together a fundraiser event that not only supports the fine work they do in sexual health, but gives exposure to local independent artists as well. PPO gave forty-five handmade “Magic Boxes” to local artists (and a few celebrities such as Rick Mercer and Ashley MacIsaac) to decorate, with the completed works to be auctioned off at a “sexy circus” gala held at Cube Gallery on November 17. Tickets are $75 and still available; purchase here.
