“I’m Only Happy When It Rains”

Erin and I sometimes tease each other about how it rains or snows almost every night that our band plays. Makes us feel like the 90’s band Garbage with that song, you know? Cuz we don’t mind. Neither should you! Tonight we’re playing with a few other very lovely folks such as Postcards (who have a release on Fixture Records) and the gorgeous Belleisle, who are playing for the first time since their CD release. Speaking of the 90s, which had some fun style going for it I think (see Grunge + Minimalism), I stumbled across this style+music blog yesterday called Pretty in Black. The sub-heading says “wear your music” and there are lots of indulgent photos of gorgeous rock and grunge and punk inspired style, see below for some photos featured there that make me think of the 90s (although a couple certainly aren’t 90s).
