Let’s continue along in our interview series Hot Potato @ Spring Puces Pop.
Or first, catch Episode One and Two.
Luckily, our host, Marilis Cardinal is bilingual so we were able to interview in English and in French depending on each vendor’s preference. Here are the next four interviews, which were done en francais. We last heard from Fred Casia of Parnell who passed the potato to his table neighbour, FLO…
…FLO passed the pierogie to Karine from La puce à l’agonie.
…Karine passed the pierogie to Mimi Traillette.
…Mimi Traillette passed the pierogie to a woman who does screenprints. I’ve been trying for a week to figure out who this woman is, but I can’t crack it! Who is the mystery screenprinter?? If you know this artist, or if you can make out what she says at the beginning of the interview when Marilis asks for her name and the name of her company, please comment!
Episode Four coming soon…with the final pierogie pass to Pomme Pomme organizer Amy Johnson who we force to eat the pierogie!! Plus an interview about fashion with Katrina, the lovely young lady who was helping table for Worn Fashion Journal, and Sam Purdy of the PinPals!!
Hot Potato is an interview game where we ask artists 3 quick questions then get them to “pass the potato” to another artist in the room.
For this year’s Spring Puces Pop Craft Fair, we took inspiration from its location at the Polish Church on Saint Viateur and decided to play Hot Potato with an at first hot, and then increasingly chilly and soggy, potato pierogie, kindly provided by the church volunteers who were serving up yummy food all day.
