We’re getting excited for the Pomme Pomme Craft and Zine Fair this weekend. In that spirit, I finally had a chance to upload the interviews we did at Puces Pop last month. Here goes the first installment of Hot Potato!
Hot Potato is an interview game where we ask artists 3 quick questions then get them to “pass the potato” to another artist in the room.
For this year’s Spring Puces Pop Craft Fair, we took inspiration from its location at the Polish Church on Saint Viateur and decided to play Hot Potato with an at first hot, and then increasingly chilly and soggy, potato pierogie, kindly provided by the church volunteers who were serving up yummy food all day.
The Questions:
1) Who are you? What do you do?
2) What are the best and worst things about this event?
3) What is the biggest challenge to being an independent artist?
4) Whose work did you discover today? Who do you admire here? Who would you like to pass the potato to?
Ok, let’s play Hot Pierogies with our lovely host, Marilis Cardinal.
First up: Walter Scott …passed the pierogie to Olivia
…who passed the pierogie to Angie of Norwegian Wood. Angie was also tabling for Tyson Bodnarchuk. Visit their boutique and gallery Headquarters in Montreal.
…who passed the pierogie to Marc Simard of Broundoor
