Hot Potato @ Spring Puces Pop - Episode Four (Extras!)

by Tessa Smith

Here’s the last episode of the interview series Hot Potato @ Spring Puces Pop 2008. We started by passing Walter Scott a pierogie and asking him the following questions:

1) Who are you? What do you do?

2) What are the best and worst things about this event?

3) What is the biggest challenge to being an independent artist?

4) Whose work did you discover today? Who do you admire here? Who would you like to pass the potato to?

He passed our pierogie to his friend Olivia, and from there we hopped from table to table interviewing different artists and following the trail they paved in the name of knowledge and starchy food.

Catch Episode One, Two, and Three if you missed them.

And now, a baby who can’t help dancing even when he’d rather cry.

In this episode we’ve got the final pierogie pass which ended up in the hands of Wooden Apples owner and Pomme Pomme organizer, Amy Johnson. And guess what! She ate the pierogie!!

After playing Hot Potato we decided to do a few more interviews, minus pierogie, just for fun.

We interviewed Sam Purdy of the PinPals:

We also interviewed Katrina who was tabling with Editor-in-Pants of Worn Fashion Journal, Miss Serah-Marie McMahon who makes an appearance in the video as well.

And that’s all! See you wherever we strike next, potato in hand and digital camera all set for poor sound quality!!

Watch Episode One: interviews with Walter Scott, Olivia, Norwegian Wood, and Broundoor.
Watch Episode Two: interviews with Roadkill, Hillary Thompson, Deborah Adams, More than a friend, and Parnell.
Watch Episode Three: interviews with FLO, La puce a l’agonie, Mimi Traillette, and a mystery screenprinter.
