Hello Indyishers,
While I know most of you already give a lot of your time to different projects, if this one interests you and you’re available to help, we’re lookin’!
I’ve helped out the first 2 editions of the Festival de Musiques Progressives de Montréal, but will not be around this year, and the same is true for my usual ticketing partner.
So, the FMPM is looking for a kind soul to help slap admission bracelets on attendees for the weekend and manage the guestlist, basically from noon until the last show is under way around 10ish.
The festival takes place September 13 and 14th, at the Centre Pierre Péladeau which is just outside of Berri Metro station.
You’ll get lunch and dinner and a free T-shirt and maybe some other stuff, who knows, and you’ll get to see some of the shows (there are plenty of nice helping hands who will watch your station so you can go check it out for a bit if you’ll return the favour)
If you’re into progressive music, this may be a good opportunity as tickets are about $70 per day and there are some pretty great international bands at these fests.
If you’re interested you can write me an e-mail at nadine@messmontreal.com
Rock on,
Nadine
