there’s a Telefauna show tonight, April 8th, at the Divan Orange on St.Laurent Street.
also: there’s a Lickety-Split launch party coming up soon that’s bound to be sexy and stellar. And lovely Lickety Split has declared that they will support Indyish by buying an Ad. We will make much hoopla out of this once the ad itself arrives. Go Them! They’re awesome! Which reminds me: I need to make a page detailing our options for advertisers. I’ve made major headway on the How To’s in the past two days, so this Ad page is next on my list.
also2: there’s a Worn Launch party happenin’ end of April for Issue 2- very exciting. There will be cigarette girls and multi-talented Worn writers Dj’ing and, as usual, Fantastic Attire is very much Desired. (and thanks to Melissa Matos and Gilles Marciano for this fantastic phraseology.) This event will also feature the Fashion show/Vernissage for the Consistent Variable Project Trial 2. If you don’t know the Consistent Variable Projects you should remedy that deficit immediately. Our man Clayton (designer of complexgeometries) is the Curator of this Trial and the co-founder of the original impetus for this peculiar kind of design experimentation. Basically: everyone gets the same kit and has the same amount of time to make something using the kit. I participated last year, and so did Jen, Himo and Maryanne (Re-Gen, Pearls Before Swine, and Hastings and Main).
I’ve actually been working on a wierd kids book about that first CVP which, hopefully, will also be ready and for sale at this big Worn/CVP shindig.
so much muchness.
keep well!
