Go west! On tour and tonight.

Nightwood is back from our first ever tour, and we’d like to offer a wee glimpse into the experience:

“So we’re stretching and lounging around after the nine day tour through Quebec and Ontario, petting the cats and dogs, kissing our lovers, sleeping in our beds and catching up on work at our day jobs. We have so many fun things to share, but for now we’ll stick to word associations about the different cities we’ve played in. So much goodness and fun. In addition, there are two worthy and fun shindigs going down tonight in NDG. First thing is a benefit for Head & Hands’ Young Parents Program at Maz bar (5617 Sherbrooke W, near Decarie, 105 bus). Help send young families to Granby Zoo this summer by dancing and drinking inexpensive beer!

Also throwing down is NDG’s own school of rock, …It Came From The Garage, a super charming soiree of young and up-coming musicians showcasing their talent! Nightwood is gonna play a few songs in support and the whole thing goes down at the Canadian Legion Hall (5455 de Maisonneuve West), a few short steps away from Vendome metro. Ta!
