Free EP + Neil Young cover song set by The City Streets

The City Streets have released a free EP titled ‘Decline of the West’ recorded in their home studio ‘Franktown’. The title track is available below and the whole thing is up in the ‘free‘ section of The City Streets’ website where they have just put up all their other free EP’s, b-sides, and 2010′s full length The Jazz Age.

Mid-December The City Streets’ will be releasing 2 songs from their forthcoming full lengths. The first will be ‘How I Pray’ (feat. Colin Stetson) which is from their fourth studio album, Winter Lightning, that was recorded in June with Howard Bilerman at Hotel2Tango studios in Montreal. The second is the track ‘Nothing can be planned’ from their fifth LP Sawdust & Rum which was self recorded in a cabin in Nova Scotia last September. Both albums are set to be released in March followed by Canadian/US tours.
