Free Concert in Montreal today, and video for other days - the National Parks!
by Risa DickensAccording to Alanah, who knows things about cities, there is a free concert downtown today in our city, not a surprise since Montreal does these constantly (and lovably). The show is 7pm on Ottawa street between Prince and Queen - this is pretty old Montreal, kinda staunch, and great place for the pretty, beat funky, reverby distortion of The National Parks.

AAHHH! Too bad I didn’t see this yesterday - I LOVE this band - what a great way to bridge the gap between organic sounds and urban style music. Ah well - it’s impossible to see everything in this city.
