Who we are: Concerto Della Donna, an 18-voice woman’s chamber ensemble
What we do: we raise our voices in SONG
When we’re singing this weekend: Montreal West United Church. 8 Ballantyne (get directions here). Show’s at 3pm this Sunday. Tickets are 10 dollars.
This is our Montreal concert before we head on tour later next week to Eastern Ontario. We’ll be singing a selection of our tour program - lots of gorgeous Canadian, English and Welsh folk songs; lots of German love songs; some arty impressionist music; and other delightful surprises.
Della Donna is an award-winning chamber choir, under the direction by Maestro Iwan Edwards, who recently retired as the MSO’s choir master. We’re hella tight.
