Find me a wedding dress (so misleading)

by Worn Journal

Worn Fashion Journal is in need of a wedding dress!
(for a photo shoot, of course)

The concept involves destroying the dress, so it can’t be a loaner or a rental, and it can’t be insanely expensive. In fact, the cheaper the better. (We’re hoping I can find something for less than $50, but we’ll see.)

This is what we are looking for specifically:

- Second hand

- Preferably with a proper waist line and a fuller skirt - a train if we can get one

- Not sleeveless or strapless - short/midlength sleeve is best

- Some lace (not completely plain)

- Meringue-y enough to be interesting, but not so beautiful we’d feel bad about destroying it

- Small size (maximum 27″ waist - but could be as small as a 23-24)

- Small tears/stains/busted zippers/missing buttons are okay

Consider that list a Wish List. We are willing to make all kinds of concessions if we can find something for the right price.

It doesn’t even have to be an actual wedding dress (it could be a white prom dress, if it’s really fancy and bridal-looking) but a wedding dress would be best.

If anyone has any ideas, we’d totally appreciate it. If you think you know someone who might be able to help, feel free to forward this along.

Contact coco@wornjournal.com if you got something for us.
