Finally the last Poster Winner (s!)

So, yeah, we left a few strands hanging after our launch weekend in August, namely- the last poster design winner for our contest has, as you may have noticed, never been named! shocking. There ended up being two distinct winners, and both were notified that though the voting didn’t go exactly as we’d planned (can you tell there’s a whole long boring story there?) they seemed to be the chosen ones. The people at Wa’ou (where the initial round of poster drop off and voting went down) loved and voted for Heather Macdonald’s dear man, and watery inky world, and cafe life with little dog (check it below! agree that it’s dear!). And of the people at the launch, loving the art on the walls, a distinct majority told me they loved George Blott’s Robot Eater. So there you have it, eh? And as of today, they’ve both been notified that they are both the winners. Whew! I love doing something pretty with loose ends- like giving away one more prize pack then planned.

Here’s a description of what they’ve won. Basically it’s a free year of webhosting from Touchbasic.com. And it’s a pretty snazzy package if I don’t say so myself! For those of you wondering- Touchbasic is the mothership entity under which we offer the web services on contract (design, development, and especially Wordpress customization) that tend to pay our household’s bills and let us keep poking and tickling at our beloved Indyish.
