Cryptacize tour video makes touring look fun and humble

by Tessa Smith

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been booking a tour for my band Brave Radar and our friend Dirty Beaches. A lot of other bands are about to embark on summer tours right now (read about Nightwood’s tour booking diaries, part one and two). I thought it was fitting to post this video of Cryptacize’a first tour, which they took this past year. I posted a review of their shows in Montreal, including a short video of their live set at Sala Rossa. In their video below you can catch a tiny glimpse of Shapes and Sizes playing the Phonopolis basement show that I wrote about, along with footage from Toronto and SXSW (and here with photos). Cryptacize are apparently heading off on tour again starting May 30th, and not returning home until mid-August! whew! Catch them in your city if you can.
