Man and Mouse is loosely based around the characters Lennie and George from the classic Steinbeck novel Of Mice and Men, of course with a few embellishments. (For instance I don’t remember if George and Lennie ever attempted circus tricks.) With whispers of the dustbowl era and vaudeville we travel with Lenny and George as they sojourn through the trials of their partnership and as they woo us with their continued inability to succeed. Set to an openly manipulative score this cinematic 40-minute work embodies the elements of an epic work, yet is definitively not epic!

November 19th at 9:30pm: Salon Illusion Coda Club 4119 boul. St-Laurent (corner of Rachel).
And November 22nd at 9:30pm: Studio Mange Mes Pieds #214, 10 des Pins W (corner of St Laurent).

Tickets: $7 at the door. For more info: 514 845-7900, katieward72@yahoo.ca.
