Me and Marilis are teaming up with Amy of Woodenapples to host a Clothing Swap this Saturday Dec. 1st.
Bring a bag of clothes you’re ready to get rid of and go home with all kinds of new goodies.
FREE (or $5 if you don’t bring clothing)
1pm: Drop off your clothes
We’ll sort through everything and arrange it by size and tops/bottoms, etc.
2pm: Come back and choose your new picks!
Also on Saturday, there’s a craft fair called The Flea Affair at the Centro Gallego de Montreal on St. Laurent near Fairmount. So after you drop off your stuff, you could go check it out and come back in time to swap swap swap.
Woodenapples has been hosting workshops since they opened, including an embroidery workshop with Worn editor, Serah-Marie McMahon and a Stich ‘n’ bitch that happens every second Wednesday (stop by this Wed at 6pm if you’ve got some crafting projects to work on). For a list of upcoming workshops, check out their website. And here’s an interview with Amy about her lovely gallery space/store/workshop.
