Known Bugs

Well, here’s a list of some more stuff we fixed up and improved since the most recent site update:

Video Embeds were getting eaten up - users who tried to add video embed code to their post anytime over the last few days found that the system was filtering out the code everytime they hit “Save”. [...]

ok, so yesterday Indyish.com recieved a major upgrade. There were a significant amount of changes made, many of which (but not all) are only visible to indyish members logged into the system. Well, there haven’t been too many new features to speak of on Indyish over the last few weeks.. This is mainly because we’ve been focused on cleaning up existing code throughout the site, in preparation for the upcoming (and highly secretive) design update, aka: “All Site Refresh”.
In the meantime, and after some testing, several bugs [...]

You may have encountered the dreaded “internal server error” message over the last few weeks when trying to view our site.
What you’d see is a blank page with an error message claiming that the server could not complete your request.
Well, after much troubleshooting it seems that the error is caused when too many people try [...]

the math plugin has been buggy the last week or so (caught by Tessa - thanks).
the result, everybody fails math and we all became independent artists (a joke).
seriously though, no comments were getting through and after several hours of searching for the cause, we decided to disable the math plugin until further notice.

We upgraded our site to WordPress 2.0.7 - which provided some security and other minor bug fixes.
As a result, indyish site tags were broken (temporarily), but this has been fixed as well.

There seems to be a bug where some users who published a post - end up with 2 posts that are identical. The only difference between the duplicate entries is in the URL.
For example:
http://www.indyish.com/my-post/
and
http://www.indyish.com/my-post-1/
Also, and likely a related side-effect to this bug, some of these users are having trouble deleting the duplicate post.

Internet Explorer seems to be having a problem loading the Networking page. I’ve tried locating the bug, but this looks like its going to require so more time to work out. Currently, the site will appear to be successfully loading until mostly everything on the page is visible. At that point, it will hang, freezing [...]
