Canada Arts Connect

I’m back from a weekend away from internet, and my fingers are twitching with eagerness at all the good word it’s time to spread.

First off – the web has sprouted a new and useful tool for those who are job hunting in Canada‘s arts industries in these mad times – and if you are, know that we are working and thinking of you and trying to figure out ways to help. Because it’s getting harder out there in a lot of ways, and I don’t just mean swine flu, though that’s scary too. I mostly mean that we need to find new ways to take of each other, so we don’t get spread too thin and disapear.

And I beleive we will figure this new thing out and survive and thrive, friends! Especially with new friends like these popping up all the time: Check out CANADA ARTS CONNECT. A daily scouring of job listing sites to pool just the gigs that might relate to those of us whose skills and happiness lie in the areas of oh say, design, or welding, or poetry, or pirouettes.
