Byron Toben has arranged for a $360 prize to the winning submission of a one act play set in Montreal in the style of a Film Noir..

Deadline: March 31 2010
Application Fee: $20 cheque made out to Quebec Drama Federation.
The majority of the fees will be donated to The Actors Fund.
(This fund is a non-profit registered charity
to aid actors and other theatrical people
in temporary distress.)
Copyright: All rights remain with author.
Performances: Mr. Toben will organize a private dramatic reading of the winning script, if the author wishes.
Return of scripts: Scripts will be returned to author only if he/she encloses a return self addressed, stamped envelope.
Author: need not live in Montreal, so long as the setting is there
Language: Basically English, although liberal use of French is welcome, as well as other languages relevant to the district of the city chosen as the setting.
