Actors, students, drama-hobbyists: do you remember the strange stuff you’ve auditioned for over the years? You know, the REALLY memorable independent films, commercials, Hollywood blockbusters that made you ask “someone got money to film this/write this sh*t?” Yes? Good… because we want to make your pain a part of the April Monthly Mess!
Indyish.com is asking you to submit scripts you have from the worst plays, film and commercials that you’ve come across. On April 26th, Indyish.com will feature our favorites as reenacted by our Sh** I Auditioned For Players at the Heavy Drama Monthly Mess.
Here’s a step by step of what we want you to do:
1) Recall pain
2) Find that pain in script form buried in your closet or on your hard drive
3) Email, mail or deliver your scripts to us no later then Wednesday, April 24th (email would be best: tristan@indyish.com)
4) Come to the April 26th Monthly Mess at Off Interarts and witness the Sh*t I Auditioned For Players reenact your pain for all to see.
5) Receive hugs from all around for having put yourself through that pain.
Hilarity will ensue.

oh god, if only I could find the “Bionic Eagle: the eagle with bionic eyes.” script that Peter and I wrote in the annex at Alexis Nihon… a behind the scenes look at the downfall and triumphant return of Kidnapper films thanks to the enterprising Bionic Eagle detective agency
it was a big budget movie script really, not suited for stage, oh well… one can dream!
