There’s this cool teaching hotel in town called the ITHQ where students learn the hoteling arts and guests get treated to 4 star service for student-in-training prices. Now, with some super sweet cunning on somebody’s part, the students of the Pastry class are bringing their arts to a favorite indie boutique in the Mile End of Montreal, General 54, for a pastry vernissage and tasting!
This Sunday May 20th you can have your cake and
eat it too at the first ever “Pastry Vernissage”
hosted by General 54 and the students of the
ITHQ’s Pastry Program. The student’s creations will be on display from
2-3pm followed by an icing based free-fo-all with a sampling
of all the cakes. There will be also sweet snacks
as well as tea, and other less civilized breverages. It’s all FREE and open to anyone!! So save the date
and wear extra stretchy pants!
