McAuslan Brewing to host fundraising concert for the Quebec Society for Disabled Children on August 30thMontreal, August 7th, 2008 – McAuslan Brewing is proud to announce that on Saturday, August 30th they will host a fundraising concert benefiting the Quebec Society for Disabled Children that will feature a special live performance by Bran Van 3000. The band recently returned to the stage to perform at the Montreal Jazz Festival, attracting a crowd of over 100,000.
The event will take place in the parking lot for the Terrace St-Ambroise, located on McAuslan Brewing’s property along the Lachine Canal in St-Henri (5080 St-Ambroise). Having founded the St-Ambroise Cultural Center this year (also located on their property) as well as recently hosting the Folk Festival on the Canal, Fantasia Film Festival Preview Night and POP Montreal’s Reggae Bike-In on the Terrace St-Ambroise, the Montreal microbrewery continues to bring life to the South-West end of the city.
Doors for the Bran Van 3000 concert open at 6:00PM, with the show scheduled to start at 8:00PM. Tickets are $30 and are available exclusively through www.Ticketpro.ca. Space is limited, therefore people are encouraged to buy their tickets early.
Profits from the event will be donated to the Quebec Society for Disabled Children (www.enfantshandicapes.com). Founded in 1930, the Quebec Society for Disabled Children is a non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of children with special needs and the quality of life of their family.

the question remains however, will this be Bran Van with the new singer?
