Hey, bloggers are playing tag and I’ve been hit by Angela Mackenzie of Honey Flower so now I’m playing by the rules and passing it on because I too want to feature some folks and overshare.
Here are the rules of Blog Tag:
*************************************************************************
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 5 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
**************************************************************************
5 facts:
- My desk is an utter mess, and I kind of like it that way.
- I wrote a book called No One Knows Everything. It’s being published by a European open access publisher early next year so you might actually see it in book stores, but you can read it here: Risa Dickens - No One Knows Everything - PDF
- I like to wear clothing that triggers conversation, and I wear some things way too much right after acquiring them because I have garment love, I can’t help it.
- I mostly work on Indyish from home in my pajamas sitting back to back with Elran. We joke that it feels more like head to head.
- I am a rabid multi-tasker and one of the few things that gets me angry (typically in a soft-spoken and likely unthreatening way) is wasted time.
Blogs I’d like to feature (but I understand if they don’t have time):
- Mashable. A huge blog and resource on on social networks that Elran introduced me to, makes a good browse always and is doing something for the comments that’s interesting and funny given we’re in the midst of this conversation.
- Quirky Australian Prof’s perspective on Social Networking, just found it the other day: http://silkcharm.blogspot.com/ I don’t always agree but she sure makes a great read.
- Unrestrained and lovely music writing: Said The Gramophone
- Dave’s new blog - Cool’s Corner - his mission is not to destroy record labels, but to help musicians see other ways of having a music career. He’s eye-opening, empowering and believes small is beautiful I think, but in a really ambitious change-the-world way. And I feel that.
- The new Worn blog - Coco’s Blog. She just started but I love how she writes about clothes. I’ve learned a lot from working with this writer on Worn.
Ok! Honey Flower also tagged the Team, so watch for something from them maybe coming soon. Games ahoy!
