Black Heart seeks submissions

Black Heart Magazine is currently accepting submissions for our next issue, “The New Pornographers.” We’re looking for submissions on or related to the subject of pornography, in all its many forms. What makes something pornographic (as opposed to erotic/erotica)? How do you feel about porn? When’s the last time you watched porn, read a dirty book, watched a filthy YouTube video, or otherwise engaged yourself with smut with the express purpose of getting off? What kind of porn does it for you? Do you do it alone or with others? What’s porn got to do with you, anyway?

For that matter, what’s a “new” pornographer? Someone who’s just joined the biz? An independent artist who takes his or her clothes off? Pin-up girls? Alternative models? Men, women, transgendered people?

Engage with these questions. Play with the answers. Write something fictional or true of 1,000 words or less and send it–with pictures if you’ve got ‘em!–to us at submit@blackheartmagazine.com by September 1, 2008
