Could any more of my favourite things be thrown together into the same alliteration? Oh yeah - Bollywood! Pop Montreal brings it all together with the Bollywood Bike-In at the McAuslan Brewery this Friday August 10th.
Not only is McAuslan one of the major indie breweries in Quebec, their brewery is one of the only remaning factories along the Lachine canal that hasn’t been converted into condos. McAuslan is wisely tapping into all those new condo-dweller dollars with a lovely terrace serving food and tasty tasty beer. It also has a great view of my favourite Montreal ruin
Friday’s event features three films: Bollywood classic, SHOLAY, Trapped In The Closet by R. Kelly, and Surfing The Waste: A Musical Documentary About Dumpster Diving. The facebook invitate also promises dancing til dawn with music by Ghostbeard, Khiasma and Peer Pressure Djs (A-Rock, Merkmeny & Hatchmatik).
