I would like to cordially invite you all to a special night of musical comedy that I am putting on featuring a good friend of mine from New York, Ben Lerman. He is a uniquely hilarious ukulele troubadour and his uproarious performance is a must-see summer event. I’m extremely excited that he’s making the trek up to Canada for this one special night, so please come out and make Ben feel more special than he probably already feels. It’s the closing show of the Jeff for Laughs festival, so come and join in the funny!

Ben Lerman is a New York City–based singer-songwriter, comedian, writer, and Youtubographer, originally from South Bend, Indiana. He co-founded the Isotoners (www.myspace.com/isotoners), for which he wrote, played keyboards and bass, and sang. For three years the Isotoners played around New York, honing themselves musically and satirically to the point where the Village Voice put them on the cover of their “Best of New York 2004″ music section with a full-page photo. The band played the gay comedy rock circuit until 2005 when they discovered that there was no gay comedy rock band circuit. Ben learned to play the ukulele and ventured out on his own. He’s been playing solo gigs since 2006.In 2005 he began making videos like every other asshole on the internet. But his are better. Ben hopes to one day play his ukulele on the bow of cruise liner, leaning over the ocean, with only Leonardo DeCaprio holding back from perishing in the great blue sea.
