How about some burlesque to kick off the New Year? Mourning the loss of the Oops Johhny Troupe last year, Colin Seymour stepped in and picked up the reins to produce a unique and diverse production with some well-loved and plenty of new acts. Check out the first Bad Taste Burlesque show, The Heavy Petting Zoo, this Friday and Saturday at Cafe Cleopatre.
Lions and tigers and burlesque, oh MY!
Bad Taste Burlesque is thrilled to announce its debut spectacle, The Heavy Petting Zoo!
What is Bad Taste Burlesque?
We are a troupe that challenges the traditional ideas of burlesque; pushing past the classics. This ain’t your mama’s striptease! By bringing together an incredibly dynamic group of performers, we seek to demonstrate that diversity is very, very sexy. Our motives are to shock, arouse, amuse, offend, titillate, and most of all, entertain!
Our debut show, The Heavy Petting Zoo, fits our mandate perfectly. Vivacious vixens, ballsy bulls, horny horsies and cheeky chicks, all on stage and safe behind bars! Be sure to keep your eyes open for the chicken dance like you’ve never seen it before, and some very naughty household pets! This one’s for all you purrrverts!
Two nights only!
Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19
Cafe Cleopatra (1230 St. Laurent at St. Catherine)
Doors at 9:30PM, Showtime 10PM.

Give in to your animal instinct!
