Robert Allen Rieck Jr. is a C-5 quadriplegic who was injured in a fall on September 30th, 1996. He has an Associates Degree in Business Administration with Marketing as a focus. He was a volunteer for the Lincoln Literacy Counsel from November 2001 to October 2007, and most recently (April 2008) was elected as the team Sponsor Coordinator for the Midwest Rugby Rebels. He volunteers, as needed, as a SCI (spinal cord injury) mentor at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital where he visits, listens, and encourages newly injured patients to make life adju... [more»]stments, while still pursuing personal goals in society and life. Robert loves to spend quality time with his girlfriend Jess, who he has been dating since June 17th, 2005.
Robert is constantly setting and finishing goals/projects. He has opened a business called "QuadAntics," offering humorous irreverent phrases/images created and designed by himself with some help from Jessie. These images are then placed on a variety of products, including tees.

My humor might be in the gray area, but others with disabilities and Walkies alike know I have an awesome attitude, love life, and just laugh about everything it throws my way. Sincere life-enjoyment mixed with humor makes people excel, and for me is a panacea."
