About: Montreal resident since 2004, Melissa makes her living sewing costumes for some of the theatres around town, and in between contracts creates one of a kind shoes. Miss. Cartwright grew up in Vancouver, and studied in Halifax at NSCAD University, and at FIT in NYC. Aside from a love of shoes, Melissa also enjoys tap dancing, female R&B artists from the late forties / early fifties, tarragon-Dijon mustard, and all the fantastic things you make from cardboard.
