  Filmmaker, photographer, producer, radio show host, event co‐ordinator, web designer, teacher, and life long student are all many roles that Paul Aflalo, has had in pursuit of his long‐sought career. His most recent film, Surfing the Waste: a Musical Documentary about Dumpster Diving, was an official selection at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, Dokementar: The Norwegian Documentary Film Festival and The Canadian World Wide Shorts Film Festival. Escaping the documentary world every once and while, Paul has produced a short fiction film, Condemned (2008) an official selection of the Montreal World Film Festival 2008, and a handful of music videos including, Show You Love by world famous cellist Denis Brott, featuring Jonthan Emile (2009), and Waiting for the Sun by Sophie Young (2006). Dabbling outside the film world, Paul co‐founded Remember Griffintown, a three‐day event celebrating the rich history of the former Montreal Irish Quarter. He also works with Indyish! and produces the Monthly Mess, which has be an absolute blast!
