  Brave Radar began as the solo project of Conor Prendergast (Sydney, Australia). After self-releasing three EPs Conor moved to Montreal where he joined forces with Tessa Smith (Halifax, NS). Sharing seaside sensibilities and a DIY approach to pop music, they started work on their first self-recorded effort, Distracting Strangers. Equipped with two guitars and kitchen sink drums,... [more»] Brave Radar build shambolic ditties with nu-soul melodies and open plain earnestness. Expect bitter sweets, salty storm clouds, and cheetah fur.
  
  Conor is embarrassed by the concept of blogging, so Tessa will use this profile to document Brave Radar's journey into all things musical, while Conor will pretend it doesn't exist and post CDs in the indyish boutique from time to time.
