Alison Louder

• My Profile

  A bilingual actress-activist born and raised in Montreal's Plateau/Mile End, Alison now works professionally in theatre and film, in both languages. Her implication in the Montreal theatre community goes beyond the stage. She recently completed a six-month paid internship at Imago Theatre, administering everything theatre from A to Z, as well as managing OFF Interarts Studio. She is on MainLine Theatre's Board of Directors and was Artist Ombudsman for the 2008 Montreal Fringe Festival. She was also on the Quebec Drama Federation 2008-2009 Works... [more»]hop Series Committee. She volunteers annually for Pop Montreal, and even actually worked for Pop Montreal 2007 as a media correspondent for PunkTV.ca.
  When not doing any of the above, Alison gets creative and writes, makes music, dances, does sketch comedy to live music, films live bands, performs in a Monthly Mess here and there, freelance bar tends and waitresses to pay the bills. But mostly, she just loves to rock out with her friends and go to shows and all-night parties. You can find her loitering in Mile-End, or in the Oxford, under Night-Owl.
