Assembly 2.0-The music God listens to on His walkman

by Tessa Smith

This is the first of many posts, each documenting one piece from the Indyish Assembly 2.0 Art Relay.

First things first. In April, TJ Dawe wrote “The music God listens to on His walkman” to be the starting point for our art relay project. We created 40 Celtx projects with TJ’s piece and the Assembly rules.

Read “The music God listens to on His walkman” and the rules.

The rules were also posted on indyish as we kicked off the relay.

On May 1st, each identical project was shared with one of the scriptwriters who had signed up on indyish or the celtx forums. Throughout May, writers worked to take 5 elements from TJ’s piece and create their own 10 minute scripts.

As writers started working, they used the forums a bit to talk about how it was going.

I’ll be posting the scripts next, along with each writer’s discussion of which elements they chose and why.
