Another Neil Young Night and a Glimpse of the Lickety-Split Launch

I got to partake in another Neil Young singalong yesterday (mostly Neil anyway) before heading over to the Lickety-Split issue 4 launch at Lambi. Here are some pics!

The singing was great, inspiring, fun - I feel like themed singalongs will be creeping their way into in our days more often. This is like medicine - singing along with people great at their craft like Lil Andy and Dan Schacter is such a lucky pleasure. So long as they’re having a good time we’ll keeping harassing them to let us watch and muck about and invite others and- in my case - sing along with increasingly reckless (and sometimes toneless but that’s ok) abandon.

Reckless abandon is also ok at a LIckety Split launch, encouraged, even, in a very positive, healthy, cozy way. Before my batteries died I got some great pics of some of the sexy happy hoardes at the Party- drawing moustaches on each other and generally being their grand selves. Most of these I can’t show you - they may end up on the back cover of the next issue of Worn. But there are a few good ones there, including a great sexy/serious shot of the lady of the evening- Lickety-Split founder herself, Amber Goodwyn.
