Alexis at the Midnight Ukulele Disco

Alexis: I’m going to be on TV tonight. Local New York TV, but then it will be on the internet. It’s a whole 1/2 hour show about me and my ukulele.
me: it’s kind of weird that TV wants to talk about your ukulele for that long. I mean, I think it’s great…but tv?
Alexis: Well, it’s a show about ukuleles, and I’ll play and sing a bunch of songs, too. The show is called “Midnight Ukulele Disco”
me: i guess it’s the fact that there is a show about ukuleles that surprises me. not that it’s a show about you
