add Flickr feeds to your profile

by elran

Someone had suggested that we could add the ability to include your own personal Flickr feeds in your artist’s profile page. Basically, you would enter a URL that included your flickr username and the tag for the images you would want to include (you have to tag your images in flickr first for this to work).

The end result would look sometihng like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/elran/tags/indyish/

Incidentally, this is actually the real feed URL for all my images that are tagged “indyish” (not too many yet though). You could try to copy+paste the URL into your browser (or just click the link) too see th actual images. Now imagine these images in on your profile page (might spice things up a little).

Anyway, that reminds me of another idea we had..
If everyone (with a flickr account) tagged their images as “indyish” - we could pool all these images together and then display them on the site somewhere. For now, i think i’m the only one who’s actually tagging things as “indyish” but if more people did it, things might really get interesting.

Oh, and while you’re at it, why not join our Flickr discussion group and shmooze a little (you can also add your images to our Gourp Photo Pool).

We still want to get a little feedback on this idea, so feel free to email us or leave a comment if you have any thoughts on the the matter.
