A new dance party night at Green Room to be reckoned with!

If you’re like me and you miss Tuesday nights at Green Room, there’s a well kept secret that deserves to be gossiped about… and indulged in.

Touch Me Tuesdays is the latest in a string of weekly events that have cut their chops at the aforementioned much-loved bar, and if it’s everything I’m hoping for, then it will be sure to last. Specializing in electro-dance indie rock mixed with some eclectic goodies - because really, who makes music that is distinctly one genre anymore? - DJ Em and DJ Rob promise to deliver a wide range of goodies that will make you get on up off that thang and dance to tha beat! Expect to hear anything from Metronomy to the Ting Tings to Siouxsie and the Banshees.

I’ve known DJ Em a long time, and I can honestly say that she has ridiculously great taste in music. It may shock you to learn she is a Communications graduate and presently in Law School at McGill, but she really doesn’t take herself too seriously. Touch Me Tuesdays is an attempt to create the kind of night she and DJ Rob felt was missing from this city. They spin from the heart, and as a result, last week’s Touch Me Tuesday was incredible. Lots of people came out, and the dance floor was alive.

The whole feel of the night is very fun and non-pretentious, and as usual the Green Room staff are quick on their toes and pleasant as all hell. If you’ve been missing Tuesdays at Green Room and you love to dance, never fear! Touch Me Tuesdays is here!!!
