A new artist and a potential Puces Pop partnership!

Guess what guys? I received this delicious email today from Iris Taborsky-Tasa:

Hi Risa,

I got your contact through Clayton Evans, from Comple Geometries. My name is Iris Taborsky-Tasa and I design and make clothing under my own label called Haiiku. I’ve been checking out INDYISH and I love what I’ve been seeing. I think that it is a great resource for emerging artists to have, and thus, I’d love to partake in it’s growth. Please get back to me about how I can start up a page with INDYISH.

I also am coordinating the independent cultural fair PUCES POP for Pop Montreal, Oct 7th-8th. This is Puces Pop’s second year running and I am very excited about the big changes and new segments that we are incorporating in this year’s event. There is going to be the general Market area, a Fashion Boutique, Workshops, Poster Show, a Science Fair, etc…
I’d love to see what relationship we can build with INDYISH. Perhaps, INDYISH would be interested in creating a partnership wiht PUCES?

I’m a fan of the whole mad Puces Pop, Pop Montreal enterprise, and I think a mutually beneficial little partnership between us makes huge sense so I told her so excitedly. (the science fair idea in particular is pure genius.) At the very least we should swap ads I think.

And Iris’s line, Haiiku, will be popping up on the site soon, so you’ll have a chance to see how dear and cool it is. She is already, officially, the newest Indyish artist. Yay! Welcome I say! and I also say: Cheers to Clayton for the stellar networking!
