A Long-awaited weekend at the Long Hall…

Open Studios and the 7th Annual Theme Show

In January 2008, the Long Hall grew l o n g e r. Once a small, little-known visual arts
workspace and gallery made up of 15 artists, it has now doubled in size. With its unique
existence recently threatened, the Long Hall survived and emerged with twice the number
of artists, twice the amount of studio space, and much to look forward to. Our renewed space
is launching this month, with two events in three days:

Long Hall Ferment and Open StudioFERMENT: The Long Hall / Le Corrid’Art presents its 7th annual thematic group show, with this year’s theme as “Ferment”. Twenty-seven of the Long Haulers have visually responded to this active, textured, and visceral word, with painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, performance, video, plant art, and installation.
VERNISSAGE: Friday, May 23rd, 2008, 6:00 PM to midnight.
With special guest deejay N O M N R Y N
