A Little DIY Green on CBC

Last week I got together at Atelier Wooden Apples with Geeta Nadkarni from the CBC. We shot 2 segments for her feature Be Green, which airs twice a week on the six o’clock news. Geeta also has a blog for Be Green on the CBC website, with additional information and access to archived video segments. It was a lot of fun to shoot! We set everything up like a cooking segment. In the first segment we breezed through two easy recipes for natural home cleaning products. In the second segment we made a couple of beauty products- luxurious bath salts, and basic lip balm.All in all it was an afternoon well spent, and Geeta was absolutely lovely to be around. She certainly helped me to relax for my first t.v. appearance!
