Sitting in the Uncalled For bus, because those guys are good hosts, chatted with a lovely and funny young woman who did a harsh one face review of Looking After Eden. Holy heck and crap, a one face review, that’s a good idea for a blog series!! thought I, and Tristan agreed. Though she didn’t feel she could do the original one face review again for the camera, we did get a one shot review of the conversation where we came up with one shot reviews:

Oh, yeah, some context: the conversation also included Tristan and the lass remembering that they had danced together one time at a wedding.
heh.
Then more people hanging out around jumped in to share reviews of actual plays! Here’s a photo of the sketch comedy 10 000 to Flight:

Here’s Die Rotten Punkte reviewed, they’re punk comedy from Berlin:

And this is a review of Drag Queens Talk about their Vaginas:

Here’s a review of the new piece by Jem Rolls, a spoken word storyteller guy who frequently does the Fringes:

and this is a review of another popular one man show, Jesus in Montana:

and lastly for now, a review from the Montreal Fringe of the experimental improvised music / cooking show La Bonne Cuisine:

ahhhh, I think I love this game because a picture says a 1000 words, but also leaves interesting room for interpretation. More soon, I promise!
ps- all these one shot review photos were taken by Tristan Brand.
